This Friday = Perfect Timing

Bandcamp is waiving all their fees.

That means every cent goes directly to support the creation, the mixing, the crazy ideas at 2AM, the collaborations, the broken gear, the breakthroughs, the beauty.

If you ever thought, I’ll grab that track later. … well, This is later.

🎁 And yes, there are special bundles, unreleased versions, and collector’s notes waiting just for this moment.

Pick one track. Or a full album. Or the whole damn discography.

Leave a comment. Share it. Gift it. Let it live.

Why Bandcamp Friday Still Matters and Why Spotify Wrapped is going nuts

On Bandcamp Fridays, the platform waives its revenue share, ensuring 100% of your purchases go directly to artists. Since its inception in 2020, over $120 million has gone straight to musicians, making this initiative a lifeline for many in the independent music world…

Your Support = More Than Money

When you buy on Bandcamp, you help:

  • Keep indie weird and beautiful

  • Fund future collabs (and some unexpected features!)

  • Unlock exclusive content for supporters only

  • Be part of something that refuses to sell out

📢 This Friday. Be There. Be Mitxoda.

Bandcamp Friday is the real deal. No algorithm. No gatekeeper. Just us. As a lot of my friends here, I’m there as well. With all my songs, old and new.

And I’d love for you to own a part of this.

Come take it home. → mitxoda.bandcamp.com

Historical Fact: The Birth of Boulevard, a Downtempo Landmark

On July 28, 1995, French producer Ludovic Navarre, better known as St Germain, released his debut album Boulevard in the UK, a record that would become a cornerstone of the downtempo and nu-jazz scenes. Blending deep house grooves with jazz improvisations, urban textures, and lounge aesthetics, Boulevard marked a turning point in electronic music, offering a more relaxed, danceable alternative to the heavier club sounds of the era.

Though it didn’t see a U.S. release until March 26, 2002, the album quietly became a cult classic, laying the foundation for his global breakthrough with Tourist in 2000. Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Boulevard remains a timeless sonic stroll through smoky streets and underground scenes, a must-listen for lovers of sophisticated, genre-defying soundscapes.

Voilà for this little history update!
